EA SPORTS FC FUTURES LAUNCH
On Tuesday, 8th August, EA SPORTS continued to expand its FC FUTURES initiative with a new 12-month girls’ grassroots program, in partnership with the charity PCYC .
The announcement was made alongside the launch of a new community football pitch in Sydney created in partnership with EA SPORTS FC ambassador and Matildas legend Sam Kerr. The pitch will also feature in EASPORTS FC 24.
Our role was to raise awareness of the pitch and grassroots initiative by:
Securing media attendance for the launch event.
Facilitating media interviews with EA SPORTS spokespeople.
Distribute post event media materials and launch assets with across sport, lifestyle and news media.
Work collaboratively with the EA SPORTS team on the event schedule, messaging and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The result? We landed the attendance of every major media outlet and achieved prominent coverage and placements across earned and social platforms. It was the single biggest FC FUTURES announcement globally reaching 20.3 million from 100+ coverage pieces. Oh, and we did it all in less than a week.
