In partnership with Collecting Cars, Crestone Wealth Management and Leatherman, we are thrilled to reveal the community car showcase will return to regional paradise on Sunday March 20, 2022. Taking place on ten acres of farmland, Berry Motorfair will continue its support of Australia’s leading crisis support and suicide prevention service, Lifeline.
Berry Motorfair is a comprehensive community exhibition of over 100 classic, collectible and cool cars, whereby attendees can peruse the likes of Porsche’s, Ferrari’s, McLaren’s, muscle cars and more. In addition to the impressive line-up of vehicles, the event promises an exciting program of food trucks, bars, live entertainment, market stalls and raffle prizes.
Last year, in its augural year, Berry Motorfair was a sold out event, attended by friends, families and car enthusiasts and raised over $50,000 for Lifeline Australia. Dedicated to increasing the ways in which Lifeline can efficiently and effectively interact with people who require their services, the funds were spent in setting up a contemporary Lifeline training program for volunteers for both phone and text. For the next event, Berry Motorfair has set an ambitious target of $100,000, which will go directly to support Lifeline who expect to respond to well over one million requests for support this year.
“Due to the overwhelming success of Berry Motorfair last year, I am thrilled to announce we are back and ready to do it all over again!” says Jordan Tang, organiser of Berry Motorfair. “Berry Motorfair was a concept that was born during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic with the aim of raising much-needed funds for Lifeline as well as injecting money in the local economy; businesses at the time were really suffering the effects of the devastating bushfires and loss of tourism in the area. Thanks to the support of car owners, businesses and of course the wider community, Berry Motorfair was a sold out event and we raised over $50,000 for Lifeline Australia. Now we aim to double that.”
